A New Idea (via Video!): Submit Your Questions!

  • I’ve had so many great dialogues lately on the topic of end-of-life care, that I’m trying something new. Send me your questions, and once monthly I’ll try to address the most frequent themes in a video. Sometimes a conversation conveys more than a blog post.
  • Please forgive the frizzy hair.
  • Please also forgive any motion sickness I induce with the shaky camera.

Blessings to you!

Katie, Love your blog and a video is a great idea. I read email on my Kindle Fire. I tried rotating the orientation but could only see the right side, the map on the wall and a bit of your hair. Maybe film closer to yourself so your face fills the screen? Or maybe the size of the video needs to be smaller? I watch videos all the time in emails, but I usually get taken to another screen. Best of luck, Cathy

Thanks Cathy. Does the same thing happen when you go to the site in a web browser? It might have been a problem with WordPress formatting for email, but as far as I can tell, the video plays fine from a web browser. Please let me know if you find differently. Thanks so much!

Thank you so much for your blog. I am a trauma critical surgeon by training but gave up trauma 6 years ago and now do general surgery and surgical critical care outside of the trauma setting. I am a Christian, a mom to three amazing and rowdy little girls, and a wife. I have a clinical interest in palliative care and am working toward developing a pre-operative palliative care discussion clinic for high risk surgical patients, and work in an academic setting.
With all that background, I can say that I thoroughly enjoy your blog and its many facets. I found it through prayer one night last year as I was struggling with issues at home. Thank you for writing/sharing. It is a blessing!
